Medieval Puppet Show

Performed from a medieval cart booth this medieval puppet show is full of adventure and drama.

The puppeteers are dressed in full period costume and the show is perfect for historical events of all sizes.

The Legend of Castle Theobald

tells the story of Jack the Troubadour and Alfred his trusty companion as they try to outwit King Theobald's evil chancellor so Jack can win the heart of the beautiful Princess Matilda.

But why is the castle so sad?

Is that really a fish in the lake?

And can Jack save Alfred and the Kingdom?

A Medieval Puppet Show for historical events

Performing with charming hand carved wooden glove puppets the puppeteer brings the show's colourful and quirky characters to life.

The medieval booth with it's hand painted design of a castle, woods, lake and a backdrop of far away mountains is a visual treat in itself. It's an unusual and original design and can be moved around your event to different locations if required.

Performed on a three tier set the puppet show is fast moving and interactive. With plenty of audience participation and comedy. Quite a few surprises and of course a happy ending, children and adults will be enchanted and delighted.

This show is suitable for both outdoor and indoor events. All we need is a level area to position the cart booth with enough space for the audience. It has been performed in town centres, parks and museums and at numerous medieval themed events. We'd love to bring it to your event this year.
